Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1956 MC bolt action rifle made in Austria by Steyr in 1958 and imported by Stoeger Arms Company. 22" blued round rifled barrel with banded ramp front sight and 2 blade rear notch sight. Barrel has been rechambered to 7x57 Ackley Improved by an unknown gunsmith and stamped at breech. Blued action with rotary magazine, swept butterknife bolt, wing and side safeties, and single trigger control fitted with Leupold M8 2.5X scope. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with dished cheekpiece, white line spacers, ebony forend cap and hard rubber buttplate and grip cap. Missing screw in sling swivel studs. Comes with set of Redding Reloading dies. CONDITION: 90% original blue with some light handling and corner wear. Wood has traces of original finish with sharp checkering and some usage marks and dings. Excellent optics, bore, and mechanics. Dies appear close to new. DLM
