L.C. Smith Ideal Grade side by side shotgun made by The L.C. Smith Gun Company in Fulton, New York in 1947. 30" blued 12 gauge London Steel barrels with high sight plane, ejectors, 2 -3/4" chambers, and Full and Modified chokes. Case hardened featherweight frame with Ideal Grade floral engraving, single selective trigger, and non-automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with thin rubber added pad and hard rubber grip cap. Walnut matching checkered splinter forearm with ebony inlay and roller latch. CONDITION: 95% original blue with some case wear near muzzle. 95% vivid case colors with light edge wear. 95% original varnish with light handling marks. Small crack from left lock towards tang (seems stable). Excellent bores and mechanics. Hard to find in this condition with options. DLM
