Fox Sterlingworth Trap Grade Skeet gun in 16 gauge made by Savage Arms Company in 1935. 28" Sterlingworth Fluid Compressed steel barrels choked Improved Modified and Improved Cylinder with 2 - 3/4" chambers, extractors, full matted rib, and bead front sight. Case hardened boxlock frame with double triggers, automatic safety, and marked "FOX STERLINGWORTH" on the side of the frame. Walnut factory checkered pistol grip stock with hunting dimensions; added period Hawkins ventilated rubber recoil pad. Matching factory checkered walnut beavertail forearm with friction release. A rare Savage Sterlingworth. CONDITION: 85% fading original barrel blue with 80% case colors with most in protected areas. Wood has dry appearance with visible checkering worn flat from usage with grip cap possibly replaced. Excellent bores and mechanics. DLM
