Manufactured circa 1890 by Winchester Repeating Arms. 26" round barrel chambered in .45-70 with sporting sights and a full length tube. Plain walnut forend with steel nose cap and figured walnut butt stock with crescent butt plate. CONDITION: Good. Blued finish has largely turned to a gray patina throughout with some spots of older oxidation on the magazine tube. Stocks are dark with some impressions, nicks and chipping throughout. A repair is present at the toe with an additional 1-1/4" crack at the tang and a sliver missing along the tang. Very fine bright bore. Crisp mechanics. BAS
