Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1952 Premier Grade bolt action rifle made by Steyr in Austria between 1956 and 1968. 24" blued round barrel with hooded ramp front sight and 2 blade notch rear sight in .30-06 caliber. Blued action with wing and side safety, blued GK handle butterknife bolt, G&H sidemount base with Redfield 2x7x scope. Receiver marked "MADE IN AUSTRIA / ORIGINAL MANNLICHER SCHOENAUER / MOD 1952 / KAL 30-06". Receiver has a Steyr and "WAFFEN DSCHULNIGG / SALZBURG-AUSTRIA" marked floorplate with double set trigger. Walnut oak leaf carved pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and oak leaf design carved behind, black hard rubber buttplate, and grip cap with ebony nosepiece. European style sling swivels. CONDITION: 90% original blue with stock having some traces of original varnish. Good bore, mechanics, and optics. DLM
