Blades measures 38 - 3/8" from tip of blade to base of ricasso, both sides with 9 - 3/4" fuller. Ricasso with illegible maker marks. Double edged blade with spearpoint tip. Hilt in the form of a schianova guard with thumb ring has been married to sword. Wooden grip lightly waisted towards top. Cast flanged pommel. CONDITION: Metal has scattered darkness and spotting, with gunmetal grey throughout. Grip is good with some bumps and chips. Pommel is askew and a later addition. Sword as a whole is loose. EMW
