A very rare and beautiful table lamp by Handel. The 18" reverse painted shade features a beautiful blue background, with colorful parakeets amongst tropical flowers in gorgeous magentas, yellows and browns. The shade is in excellent condition, free of cracks or chips. The lower rim is smooth to the touch. The shade is signed "Handel 7127" and is also signed by the artist. The shade sits on a patinated metal base on four feet. The base is finished in a red-brown patina with verdigris accents. The base is in excellent condition, free of cracks or dents, with even patina throughout.
