3rd generation 1980 vintage Colt Sheriff's Model single action revolver, serial number SA40569. 3" .44 caliber round barrel with blade front sight, frame notch rear, 2 line barrel address, and 2 cylinders chambered in .44-40 Winchester Center Fire and .44 Special. 2 piece wooden factory grips featuring a Rampant Colt in a medallion on either side. Complete with factory box serial numbered to the gun and confirming configuration. CONDITION: Excellent plus, with virtually all of the original bluing remaining with scattered handling marks throughout. .44 Special cylinder has a ghost of a dragline. Grips are strong with no major signs of distress. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is dark with well-defined rifling. Box is very good with high edge wear and small tears on either end but is complete. TON
