Made circa 1864-1876. Company address in 2 lines on the top of the barrel. Only serial number is on the left side of the barrel. Half round, half octagon barrel with a blade front sight. Blued parts, wearing to a gray patina. Typical "fishtail" butt. Grips are not numbered, being possible period replacements. CONDITON: Metal retains 60% of its original finish, with the frame, forming a solid brown/gray patina mix. Grips are excellent. Bore is heavily frosted with some pitting. Good rifling retained. Mechanically fine, with a tight hammer. JWA
