Lot consist of: (A) J. Stevens & Co. No.41 Tip Up single shot pistol. 3rd variation gun, made circa 1890s. Company address and patent dates on the top of the breech in 2 lines. Barrel is half round, half octagon. Blade front sight with the rear sight being cut into the hammer. Factory full nickel finish and varnished walnut grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with a few minor scratches and handling marks. Grips have a few minor scratches as well. Bore has a few minor pits, retaining strong rifling. Hammer is tight, being mechanically fine. (B) J. Stevens & Co. No. 41 tip up single shot pistol. Type 5 gun made circa 1903-16. Company address marked on top of the barrel. Serial number on the left side of the barrel. Ejector is present. Half round, half octagon barrel with a blade front sight. Rear sight is grooved into the frame. Frame is factory nickel finished, with the balance of parts being factory blued. Varnished wood grips look to be factory. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish, with handling marks and scratches. The barrel has more wear, with the front sight possible being repaired. Grips have a few dings and scratches. Fine bore with strong rifling retained. Tight hammer, being mechanically. (C) Stevens Old Model tip up single shot pistol. Made circa 1864-1886. 2 line company address and patent dates on the top of the barrel. Serial number is on the left side of the barrel, which is half octagon, half round. Blade front sight with the rear sight being cut into the hammer. Brass frame, with the other parts being blued. Varnished rosewood grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its respective finishes, with the blued parts forming an even gray patina. Brass frame has no signs of cleaning. Grips have some minor finish cracking. Bore is frosted with minor pitting. Tight hammer being mechanically fine. JWA
