Lot consists of: (A) Hopkins & Allen Expert single shot derringer. Made circa 1880s. Unmarked and possibly an experimental piece, with the inclusion of a shell extractor. Round barrel with brass pin sight. Full factory nickel finish and bird's head grips. Hammer and trigger are gold washed. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with a few minor scratches and handling marks. Grips have a few minor scratches. Bore is frosted with fair rifling. Hammer is tight, being mechanically fine. (B) Hopkins & Allen Prince blank firing derringer. Made circa 1870s. Identical to the "Bonnie Blue" model, with the exception being the Prince model was had a fully nickeled frame. Oiled wood grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with areas of wear and handling marks. Grips have light finish wear. Bore is heavily frosted. Hammer appears to function. JWA
