German World War II steel Gestapo identity tag with heavy pitting. Tag is marked "GEHEIME STAATSPOLIZEI" with the number "16737" Tag was recovered from a body of water in Bavaria, Germany and was brought back by a US Army veteran who served in Germany during the 1970s-1980s. With the tag number it will make for an interesting research project. CONDITION: Overall poor. WEZ
