Manufactured from 1868 to 1882, quickly becoming an iconic self defense revolver that could also be used as a set of brass knuckles in hand-to-hand fighting due to its distinctive grip shape. This example is fit with a silver plated 7-shot pepperbox type cylinder for .22 rimfire ammunition. Frame is silver plated brass with factory foliate scroll engraving and an engraved shield on the backstrap. CONDITION: Fine. The vast majority of the silver plating is retained with some edge wear and flaking. Good mechanics. BAS
