SSP. What an incredible condition piece of Circa 1930's Porcelain Advertising for Hood Tires. This piece is most likely New Old Stock and is by far the highest graded example of this Sign we have ever sold and most likely one of the best examples known of this beautiful and iconic Sign from Hood. CONDITION: This piece is simply in incredible condition throughout. Sign shows immaculate color and is highly glossy throughout the entire piece. The Flagman's cap, neck, hands and feet are in immaculate condition and overall could not be improved upon. This piece shows only one pencil eraser sized nick in the "D" of Hood in the Flag graphic. The chip is fairly hidden and not distracting and without that small nick in the lower field this piece grades much higher. Sign shows only a couple of very minor nicks along the outer edge, most likely from storage. Overall a tough to beat example of one of the most iconic Porcelain Signs in history in nearly impossible to upgrade condition.
