DSP. A very rare and tough to find Circa 1930's Porcelain Sign from Veltex Gasoline & Motor Oils. CONDITION:Side one shows excellent color and gloss throughout the field with a clean Veltex "V" graphic. Side one shows one small chip in the lower field as well as some minor areas of light surface scratching. Side one shows moderate chipping at each of the mounting holes and shows a clean outer edge, Grade 8.75. Side two also shows excellent color and gloss throughout the field showing clean Veltex lettering as well as "V" graphic. Side two shows one small chip in the center field as well as minor areas of surface scratching, mostly in the outer field. Side two shows moderate chipping at each of the mounting holes and shows a clean outer edge, Grade 8.5+. Sign is mounted in what appears to be the original metal ring that has been nicely painted in black and displays the piece well. A very tough to find sign from Veltex.
