SSP. Sign is maker-marked Veribrite signs - Chicago. Excellent condition c. 1930's porcelain sign for John Deere Farm Implements showing unique colors & script as well as "Three Legged Deer" graphic. CONDITION: Sign shows outstanding color & gloss throughout the field showing no field chipping present with only a minimal amount of faint surface scratching. The lettering as well as graphic are both in outstanding condition. The lower edge shows only one chip with the left and right edges showing just minimal wear. The top edge shows four added nail holes along the edge all of which show chipping while the factory holes are clean showing faint wear. The top-right corner has been slightly rounded off, but overall the piece displays well with an excellent condition field. An excellent displaying piece of early John Deere porcelain advertising.
