DST. An outstanding example of this Circa 1940's Tin Service Station Curb Sign from Macmillan Motor Oil advertising Ring Free Motor Oils. Sign is most likely New Old Stock and was never hung. Side one shows outstanding color and gloss throughout the field with clean lettering and very minimal wear. Side one shows some light areas of surface scratching in the field as well as some minimal paint wear along the outer edge most likely from storage, Grade 9.0. Side two is also in outstanding condition showing excellent color and gloss throughout the field with clean lettering and showing only a minimal amount of light surface scratching. Side two shows an excellent condition outer edge and overall displays excellent, Grade 9.0. Sign shows both of its original grommets and would be very tough to improve upon.
