DSP. A simply outstanding piece of Porcelain Signage from Shell Gasoline showing a die-cut Porcelain Clamshell Shape with detailed Tiger Stripe slashes in the coloring with bold Shell script. CONDITION: Side one is in absolutely outstanding condition throughout showing immaculate color & gloss throughout the field with iconic red & yellow Shell Porcelain. Side one shows bold and bright colors with only one very light scratch at the top center field. Side one shows all four of its original brass grommets and shows only a very faint amount of light chipping along the outer edge and would be very tough to improve upon, Grade 9.5+. Side two is also incredibly clean showing excellent color & gloss throughout the chip free field showing bold and glossy script. Side two shows one light nick at the top left mounting hole as well as some very minimal chipping along the outer edge. Side two is bright and beautiful and overall displays incredibly well, Grade 9.25+. One of the finest examples we have ever sold of this Sign and an absolutely beautiful piece of Shell Advertising.
