DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Walker & Co. An incredibly clean and bright example of this scarce Porcelain Sign from Pontiac Automobiles Advertising "Authorized Service". Sign features a full feathered Native American graphic in the center as well as bold Pontiac lettering with wavy lines in the outer field. CONDITION: Side one shows incredible color and gloss throughout the field and is near perfect. Side one shows a few very minor surface blemishes as well as one very tiny flea bite nick in the upper left field. The outer edge of side one is outstanding showing only very minimal wear and the four mounting holes are free of any wear as well, Grade 9.0+. Side two also shows outstanding color and gloss throughout the chip free field showing an excellent condition Pontiac graphic as well as clean Pontiac script. Side two shows minor surface scratching in the red porcelain feather as well as one area of scratch in the left center field, some of which may be removed. Side two shows clean lettering in the outer field as well as a super clean outer edge showing only very minimal wear and nicks. The grommets of side two are also in outstanding condition free of any wear and overall side two displays outstanding as well, Grade 9.0. An incredibly clean example of this important and outstanding Porcelain Sign from Pontiac Automobiles.
