Receiver dates April, 1943, while barrel is dated for Sprinfield manufacture in 1952. Springfield trigger group. Springfield relief cut op rod. 11-62 dated pad, M84 scope with single piece mount, T37 flash hider. Scope has appropriate "TELESCOPE / M84 / SERIAL NO. 31051" data plate and post-and-wire reticle. Buttplate with cleaning rod segments, brush, rifle grease jar, and combination tool. No cartouches observed on stock; leather pad is tight and has been on rifle for some time and we have elected not to remove it. CONDITION: Overall very good, retaining the vast majority of the parkerized finish, T37 flash hider has some patina from use. Gas tube has some light handling marks, some silver scuffs; barrel is better as more recent. Stocks are excellent, revarnished. Receiver and trigger group very good, with some handling marks, a few spots of silvering. Bore is very good with some light frosting and strong, well-defined rifling. Mechanically fine. Glass is clear. A nice example.
