SSP. Very scarce C. 1930's Porcelain Delivery Truck Sign for Shell Gasoline showing Shell graphic with block Shell script. This is a unique variation of this Sign with most examples showing the earlier style fluted Shell and script. CONDITION: Sign is overall excellent showing brilliant color & gloss with excellent shelving between each color. Sign shows only a few minor areas of light surface scratch in the field with clean graphic and lettering. Sign shows minor nicks at the mounting holes with one chip at the lower mounting hole. The outer edge is excellent showing only faint wear. An outstanding example of this very rare variation from Shell, one of the only known examples of this Sign.
