German combination gun "Drilling" made by and marked "PAUL ERDELT, NEUSTADT a/HDT" with 16 gauge and 8.8x72 barrels marked "FLUSS-STAHL-KRUPP-ESSEN". Underneath the barrel are "U", "S", "W","NITRO" proofs, as well as the calibers, etc. Blued matted barrel with flip-up rear sight, and blade front sight. No visible serial number. No imports marks. Receiver, trigger guard, and breech release have engraving. Lower lever opens breech, rifle has dual triggers, and slider safety/ selector. Walnut stock and forearm have grip checkering. Sling swivel bases are present on barrel and rear of stock. Horn butt plate and grip cap. CONDITION: Overall excellent, barrel retains 93+% of its blued finish, and receiver/ trigger guard/ release lever, etc, are in the white, with an even patina and areas of light freckling. Stock and forearm have moderate finish wear with numerous light pressure dings. Horn grip cap and butt plate have light wear. Bores are bright (rifle bore will clean up) and gun is mechanically sound. WEZ
