DST. Sign is Maker Marked Scioto Signs, Kenton, Ohio. Outstanding and most likely New Old Stock C. 1940's Tin Tombstone Sign for Shell "X-100" Motor Oils showing a large Quart Can graphic on each side. CONDITION: Sign is overall outstanding and is most likely New Old Stock showing outstanding color & gloss throughout with minimal areas of surface scratching from storage. The can graphic is in excellent condition on each side and most wear is in the outer field. Sign shows an excellent condition outer edge and is mounted in its original iron frame which shows excellent original paint. An excellent displaying example overall that would be tough to upgrade.
