DSP. Scarce C. 1930's Porcelain Service Station Sign for Oak Motor Oils showing large Tree graphic with unique "Wood Grain" script. CONDITION: Side one shows a professional restoration throughout. The restoration work is very well done but does show areas of age wear as well as light cloudiness in the gloss. Side two appears to have begun preparation of a restoration showing very good color & gloss with areas of filler in the field as well as heavy application of filler along the lower edge. Side two shows excellent color with minor cloudiness to the gloss, Grade 6.5. An excellent displaying or project piece of unique Oak Signage.
