DSP. Very rare C. 1930's Porcelain Service Station Sign for Beaver Penn Motor Oils showing a Beaver as well as Bulldog graphic with Pennsylvania Permit graphic at the lower right. A product of Freedom Oil Works, Freedom, Pennsylvania. CONDITION: Side one shows excellent color & gloss throughout with minor areas of chipping in the field as well as a moderate amount of surface scratching throughout the field. The outer edge shows heavier chipping, Grade 7.75. Side two shows good gloss in the yellow with areas of cloudiness in the blue. Side two shows chipping in the outer field as well as some moderate chipping along the outer edge, Grade 7.25. A very tough to find piece of unique advertising from Beaver Penn.
