DSP. A very rare piece of C. 1940's Porcelain Service Station Signage from Signal Oil Company showing "Diesel Fuel" throughout each side in unique Signal colors with an excellent unique shape and displayable size. CONDITION: Side one shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field showing some moderate areas of surface scratching with two pencil eraser sided touch ups in the "D" of Diesel. Side one shows light touch ups along the outer edge with minor touch up at the left mounting hole, Grade 8.25. Side two also shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field with some areas of surface scratching in the gloss. Side two shows some minor touch ups along the outer edge as well as near the mounting holes but overall displays well, Grade 8.25. A very scarce piece of Service Station Signage from Signal that displays excellent, one of the only examples of this sign to have ever sold publicly.
