Manufactured circa 1984 by Springfield Armory as a semi-automatic civilian variant of the USGI M14 battle rifle. Standard phosphate finished 22" barrel chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO with cage flash hider. "NM" marked protected post front sight and adjustable aperture rear. Rifle is also mounted with a Tasco 3-9x scope. Fit with a 2-piece molded chocolate chip desert camouflage finished stock with GI style parkerized flip up trap butt plate. Rifle is complete with 1 20-round magazine and a leather sling. CONDITION: Very good overall. Metal components retain nearly all of their arsenal applied finish. Stock has some impressions throughout. Bright bore displaying sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. BAS
