DSP. Marked "Property Shell Petroleum Corp., 2-29". A nice displaying example of this iconic Porcelain Service Station Sign for Shell Motor Oils showing iconic Shell colors with die-cut Shell shape. CONDITION: Side one shows very good color & gloss throughout the field showing numerous small chips in the field as well as some moderate surface scratching throughout. The outer edge shows moderate chipping but overall displays well, Grade 8.0. Side two shows very good color & gloss throughout but shows heavier chipping in the field with some moderate surface scratching. The outer edge also shows moderate wear but displays well, Grade 7.25. Although the piece shows heavier wear and chipping it displays well with an excellent patina type look to it.
