Remington Vest Pocket single shot derringer. Made 1865-1888, and often referred to as the "Saw Handle Derringer". Company address and patent dates on top of the octagonal portion of the barrel. There are various numbers scratched on the left side of the frame and a "200" on the left grip. Half round half octagonal barrel with pin front sight. Factory full nickel finish and rosewood grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with minor scratches and handling marks. Grips have handling marks and scratches. There is a repair on the front of the right panel. Bore is clean overall, with a few minor pits. Strong rifling retained. Tight hammer, being mechanically fine. JWA
