Double action revolver manufactured circa 1901 by Smith & Wesson and chambered in .38 Long Colt. This round butt 4 screw K frame features a 6" pinned barrel with forged front sight, fluted 6 round cylinder, period correct checkered walnut stocks, and lanyard loop. Top of barrel has correct 2 line patent dates and left of barrel reads "S.&W. 38 MIL". Side panel has worn Smith & Wesson trade mark. Inspector marks "K.S.M." on right stock, left side of frame, barrel flat and cylinder face. Left stock reads "J.T.T. 1901". Written in pencil on inside of right stock is "13770". Matching serial number "13674" in all appropriate placements. Stamped on bottom of butt is "U.S. ARMY MODEL 1899". CONDITION: Good overall with finish mostly worn and metal surfaces turning a brown patina. Excellent bore and rifling. Good mechanics. GFP
