AGS CERTIFIED #10268. DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Brilliant MFG., Philadelphia. Pennsylvania. Well displaying C. 1930's Porcelain Service Station Sign for Exide Batteries showing unique Exide script. CONDITION: Side one presents well showing no chipping in the inner field but does show excessive loss of gloss throughout the field as well as surface scratching. Side one shows clean mounting holes as well as only faint wear along the edge, (Score 79). Side two also shows a chip free inner & outer field but also shows areas of dullness in the gloss throughout. Side two shows some minimal surface scratching as well as light nicks along the outer edge, (Score 78). Although the piece shows some areas of wear it displays well.
