AGS CERTIFIED #10178. SSP. Incredibly scarce and unique C. 1930's Porcelain Sign for Golden Bear Oil Company showing large Bear graphic with unique colors. An early product later purchased and marketed by Witco Chemical Company, Los Angeles, California. CONDITION: Sign is overall very good throughout showing excellent color & gloss in the field with a clean Bear graphic. Sign shows minor pin prick nicks throughout the blue field as well as some minor surface scratching. Sign shows minor chip at the right near edge and all four mounting holes show touch up in white. The lower edge shows some minimal edge touch up and overall the piece displays very well. A very seldom seen piece of advertising for Golden Bear.
