Built by Savage Arms Company in Utica, New York in 1933. 28" Sterlingworth Fluid Compressed Steel barrels in 16 gauge with extractors, 2 - 9/16" chambers, Full and Modified fixed chokes, and twin bead sights. Matted concave rib with Savage logo and steel marking at breech. Case hardened boxlock action with border line engraving, "FOX STERLINGWORTH" markings, double triggers, and automatic safety. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock with added Pachmayr vented recoil pad and original hard rubber grip cap. Matching checkered walnut splinter forearm with friction release. CONDITION: 95% original blue with light carry wear. 85% original case colors with most in protected areas. Action screws have been turned. 90% varnish with sharp checkering and added recoil pad (stock cut enough to install pad). Good bores and mechanics.
