Found in Canada last year, this incredible 1973 OPC 2nd series represents one of the oldest authenticated OPC hockey boxes known to exist and boasts numerous HOF and rookie cards, including multiple Stanley Cup hoisters Billy Smith and Larry Robinson. Vintage unopened hockey wax packs represent the holy grail of unopened products as they were produced in extremely limited quantities and almost all were shredded open by hockey enthusiasts 50 years ago. This example presents as it did back on the candy store counter, with the original factory tape still visible and promotional tab completely intact, now authenticated by the foremost experts at BBCE. The box exhibits moderate shelf wear, however presents beautifully and will be the centerpiece of the best vintage unopened collection.
