Holder of numerous records after the conclusion of his legendary career. Hall of Fame NFL player and coach Mike Ditka described Payton as “the greatest football player he had ever seen—but even greater as a human being.” This box has been thoroughly inspected and authenticated by the experts at BBCE as containing 36 unopened packs, which aside from the possibility of Payton’s rookie card, could also contain numerous untouched HOF cards. The display box is in wonderful presentation condition, with only a hint of moderate shelf wear.
