Importer assembled 91/30 PU manufactured from a standard configuration 91/30 Mosin Nagant, originally manufactured at the Tula arsenal in 1931. The barrel shank bears Tula's fletched arrow within a star insignia above "1931" and the serial number, with the left flat of the hex receiver bearing a Century Arms import stamp. Metal components are blued, while the stock and handguard are comprised of solid wood. Left side of receiver is fitted with a contemporary PU pattern optic and mount. Matching numbers are present on the receiver, bolt, floorplate, as well as on the buttplate. Optic mount is electropenciled to match. Rifle is accompanied by a green canvas web sling. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their Russian reapplied blue finish, exhibiting a few areas of mild wear and thinning that show through to a pleasant brown patina. Very bright bore, exhibiting some mild pitting and retaining strong rifling throughout. Stock exhibits scattered marks, dings, and a few impressions from handling and storage, with mild flaking to the varnish overall.
