U.S. M-1 Garand with action made by Springfield in 1944. 24" barrel marked "SA" and dated 6-53 with correct military sights. Barrel is marked with Blue Sky Import mark. SA marked cut op-rod with RE 58 (Republic Steel heat treat code) marked bolt and D28287-12 early SA draw number bolt. Milled style trigger group with all SA correct markings. Unmarked walnut stock with correct hardware. Comes with period leather military style sling. CONDITION: 85% plus original arsenal metal finish with some heavy edge wear. Stock has been cleaned heavily in some spots with scratches and dings. Rough bore with TE of 5 and ME of 5 with good mechanics.
