One Quart Can. Scarce C. 1950's One Quart for Mohawk Chieftain Motor Oils showing red, white & blue colors with an excellent Native American detailed graphic on each side. A product of Mohawk Refining Corporation, Newark, New Jersey. CONDITION: Quart is overall excellent showing excellent color throughout with very clean graphics and script. Can shows some minor areas of discoloration as well as some light nicks and surface rust in the fields. The upper rim shows some paint loss near the seam but overall the piece displays very well. The top lid has been removed and the Can shows a crimped seam. A well displaying piece of highly sought after advertising from Mohawk.
