HK53A2 manufactured by Heckler & Koch in 1983 and subsequently imported by HK Inc. of Chantilly, VA. The left side of the receiver is stamped "HK 53 C 111341" over the caliber designation, "(Eagle) / N" commercial nitro proof, date code "ID" (83), as well as an Ulm proof house stamp. Right side of receiver bears Heckler & Koch's import stamp. Metal components exhibit a matte gray enamel finish, while the checkered forend, trigger pack housing, and fixed buttstock are comprised of black polymer. Trigger pack is marked "0", "1", and "25". Additional features include a birdcage flash hider, drum rear sight, as well as a green canvas web sling. This example is accompanied by 1 100-round C-Mag Beta drum magazine with a black canvas carrier. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their original gray enamel finish, exhibiting some scattered spots of wear overall from storage and handling. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well defined rifling throughout. Polymer furniture is very good overall, with the right side of the checkered forend bearing a mild ding.
