Large gold leafed and painted antique zinc bear holding patriotic Union shield. Possible former affluent hotel or saloon display item. Shield is possible vintage re-paint. Includes custom walnut display stand made by Fairbanks & Co. master Victorian style woodworker Cecil Sanders of Grass Valley. CONDITION: Excellent. No dents or seam splits to bear.
