Third Reich "Sturmabteilung" tunic in the paramilitary officer rank of "Stumhauptfuehrer". Tunic is made from a brown wool with light wear, damage, and stain spots. Officer shoulder strap, collar tabs, and collar braid all appear to be original to the tunic. The right side collar tab is likely to represent "Sturm 14/ Standarte 3". Tunic is likely to have been dry cleaned as there is a partial black light glow to the tab piping and collar braid, but appear to be original to the tunic. The single machine-sewn aluminum silver Tresse on each cuff indicate an early SA member from 1929, which make this tunic exceptionally desirable. The loops for a ribbon bar and 2 medals are original to the tunic, as well as the machine-sewn NSDAP armband. Tunic is lined in a quality brown rayon with light wear, damage, and staining. A couple of illegible markings are present inside below the collar. An unique opportunity to own a rare tunic. CONDITION: Overall excellent. WEZ
