Lot consists of 16 documents and letters, most date 1814, relating to Sackets Harbor, the site of a major shipyard and military post for US defense of the Great Lakes in the War of 1812. These relate primarily to the Quartermaster supplies, with abstracts of provisions, letters between government contractors for those supplies and the Contractors Department, etc. Includes an abstract of provisions supplied to Gen. J.N.M. Hurd of the New York Militia for a march to Sacket's Harbor in September 1814. CONDITION: Very good overall.
