Five volumes as photographed. A rare set of the First and Second Sessions of Senate Journals from the 1st. through 13th Congress. Hardcover. Printed by order of the Senate of the United States, Washington. Printed and published by Gales and Seaton, 1821. The Senate Journal's are bound in the assumed original full smooth calf with leather spine labels to each spine. Provenance: Property of Elisha Litchfield. Owner signed. CONDITION: Heavy foxing throughout and some water stains., age and use related wear to the leather binding. Otherwise in good condition.
