Early 1980s production with 8 - 3/8" ribbed stainless barrel, ramped red insert front sight, and micrometer click rear. 6-shot fluted swing-out cylinder chambered in the iconic and potent .44 Magnum cartridge. Double action with smooth target trigger and checkered wide hammer. Fit with a pair of 2-piece checkered walnut oversized target grips. Housed in a fitted wood S&W display case with tools. CONDITION: Very good overall, showing some light marks throughout, including a turn line. Very fine bright bore and crisp mechanics. Matching assembly numbers on frame and crane, with the serial number also marked in pencil on the inside of the left grip. Case has a few scratches and scuffs from storage, remaining very serviceable.
