Composite Porter Second Model Revolving Turret Rifle made by P.W. Porter of Memphis, Tennessee circa 1850. Estimated 300 made. Octagon 25 - 1/2" .50 caliber smoothbore barrel with rifle sights. 9 shot turret action with several newly made parts mixed with original-looking parts. Loop lever with single trigger and walnut stock. CONDITION: Overall poor with replaced parts. A great example for display or exhibit of a really rare rifle.
