Standard configuration PPK manufactured by Walther for commercial sales. The left side of the slide bears the Walter banner logo followed by markings stipulating the manufacturer information, caliber designation, and model designation, with the right bearing a "(Crown)/ N" commercial nitro proof. Left and right side of frame bear spurious "(Eagle)/ WaA63" waffenamts. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with a 1-piece wrap around Walther banner checkered brown plastic grip. Unmarked blued magazine and black plastic grip extension are of contemporary production. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting mild edge wear overall, some losses to the finish on either side of the muzzle, as well as scattered superficial marks from handling and storage. Chamber exhibits areas of age-related discoloration. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. The grip exhibits some marks from handling and storage and some warping, with the left side bearing a small crack.
