1 of approximately 13,500 M/40 semi-automatic pistols manufactured by Husqvarna under contract for Denmark under the designation M/40S. The left side of the slide is stamped "HUQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS A.B" over the serial number, with the rear of the frame bears a "(Crown) / HV" (Haerens Vapenarsenal) inspection proof. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black plastic grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame and slide. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some areas of mild wear and thinning that show through to gray and brown patina overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered dings and nicks from storage and handling, but are otherwise fine. MLW
