Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1918. Standard 20" round Nickel Steel barrel with standard carbine sights, Winchester address, and .30 W.C.F. caliber marking. Standard Winchester bright blue finish, saddle ring, case hardened lever and hammer, plain trigger with a standard full magazine. Standard plain walnut stocks with blued barrel band and blued carbine buttplate. CONDITION: 90% fading original barrel blue with edges turning silver and muzzle showing some case wear. 85 + magazine tube blue starting to fade to a silvery patina. 40% action blue fading to brown. Nice screws, most look as though they have never been turned. Case-hardened parts have faded to a brown patina. The wood has been cleaned with some light bruises. Buttstock has some dings in the wrist area with some other noticeable bumps and bruises. Bright and shiny bore with sharp rifling and great mechanics.
