Sign is Maker Marked RS Co. & Dated 1948. An outstanding example of this scarce Embossed Tin Service Station Sign from Gulf advertising Accessories, Batteries & Tires. CONDITION: Sign is in overall excellent condition throughout showing excellent color & gloss with clean lettering throughout the majority of the field. Sign shows only a minimal amount of light surface scratching as well as some overall brown paper stain to the field most likely due to it being New Old Stock. Sign shows some light surface wear along the outer raised edge as well as some faint mounting hole wear. An outstanding displaying example overall.
