A rare and desirable Third Reich officer "SS Hauptamt" (SS Headquarters) cufftitle. Uniform removed cufftitle is in a black rayon machine-woven base with with hand-applied silver bullion lettering, and edged with 2mm wide silver bands consisting of 7 silver aluminum wire strands. The lettering is backed by a dark blue black cotton twill reinforcement, and covered by a thin black rayon strip on the reverse, which is loosely attached. The cufftitle has been sewn on and a number of its original attachment threads are present. Light wear and staining overall, with no visible damage to the bullion lettering and only very light damage to the edging strands. Cufftitle measures approximately 15 inches, with one end folded from being attached. Cufftitle brought home by PFC Robert Fuller, 101st Airborne Division, 327th Glider Infantry Regiment. A rare opportunity to own a veteran bring back example of a rare cufftitle. CONDITION: Overall excellent. WEZ
